• 46 Research Participants
Conducted surveys, in-depth interviews, and UX testing to better understand user needs, workflows, and pain points
  • 15 Unique Screens

Designed 15 interface screens from scratch based on the developed information architecture, with detailed consideration of navigation, structure, and interaction logic
  • 6 Months of Work

Over the course of six months, the project evolved from an early concept into a fully designed platform addressing multiple user needs
  • Design System & Brand Identity
I also created the platform’s design system and visual identity from scratch, as the organization previously had no established branding or stylistic guidelines

Screens: Homepage & Project Page

The homepage was designed to provide quick access to the alliance’s key projects while also introducing users to industry events and recent news.

The project page allows users to explore detailed project information, including technologies and tools used, recent updates, as well as available job opportunities and internships.

Screens: Tools & Tool Page
The “Tools” section was created to help students and early-career researchers discover professional software used at different stages of research — for example, tools for manuscript digitization.

The page also includes alphabetical search functionality for users who want to quickly navigate to a specific tool and explore projects where it has already been used.

Each tool page provides detailed information about the software, including its features, use cases, and alternative solutions.

Screens: Job Board & Education
One of the key challenges in the field is both job discovery and candidate search. To address this, I designed a dedicated job board where users can explore projects, apply filters, and browse open positions within specific initiatives.

The Education section helps newcomers better understand the field of digital humanities, discover relevant academic programs, and explore the core knowledge areas within the discipline.
